Potassium Solubilizing Bacteria (KSB)
Potassium Solubilising bacteria (KSB) is essential in converting insoluble form of K and make it available to the plant. It also helps in the growth and yield of the plant.
Composition :
KSB : 1% (5 x 10^8/g)
Carrier : 99% w/w
Net Content : 1kg
BENEFITS
Contains Bio formulation of Potassium Solubilizing Bacteria.
It contains minimum 5×108 cells per gram.
Increases availability of potassium and reduces the usage of potassium based chemical fertilizer.
Can be used for all crops and soil.
APPLICATION
Field application :
Mix 5 kg carried based formulation with 500kg moistened farmyard manure by spade.
Maintain moisture at 60% through periodical sprinkling of water and give 3turnings with spade at 3 days interval for aeration.
After 10 days of inoculation apply 500 gram per plant in the root zone and cover with soil and provide sufficient irrigation.
Apply bio formulation 2 times in a crop season, one during the release of stress and another at 120 days after first application.
Seed treatment:
10-20 g carrier based inoculant should be mixed with 20 ml rice gruel to make slurry, vegetable seeds (110-200g) can be mixed with this slurry, care should be taken to ensure uniform coating of the slurry on the seed surface treated seeds should be shade dries for 30 minutes & shown within 24 hours.
Cocopeat Enrich :
1 kg of the carrier based inoculant is sufficient to enrich 1000kg ( 1 ton) of cocopeat.
A suspension 20 g can be applied with a rose can on to the cocopeat, prior to filling in portrays.
Foliar spray :
5 kg/ hectare in 500 litres of water i.e. 5gm per litre of water.
The spray volume depends on the crop canopy
Note : Foliar spray is doesn’t recommended as it is not Completely water soluble best result can’t achieved.
